Defending D1 state champs Waukesha South/Catholic Memorial traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and came away with a win at the Jim Voss Invitational at Washington HS Saturday.

The Blackshirts scored 306 points to take the team title; Valley West Des Moines finished second.

Senior John Acevedo and sophomore Jacob Carlson each had two wins for WS/CM. Acevedo took the 200 IM and 100 fly, while Carlson took the 50 free and 100 back. Caleb Blischke took the 500 free. WS/CM also took the 200 medley and free relays.
