The Wisconsin Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (WISCA) honored several high school swimming & diving student-athletes and coaches for their achievements during the 2011-12 school year. The annual WISCA All-State Banquet was held earlier today at the Chandelier Ball Room in Hartford, WI.

This year's special award winners are as follows:

GIRLS Division 1

Swimmer of the Year - Sami Pochowski (Muskego)

Diver of the Year - Rachel Margis (Racine Park)

Coach of the Year - Blaine Carlson (Waukesha South-Mukwonago)

Diving Coach of the Year (Both Divisions) - Herman Acevedo (Divine Savior Holy Angels)


GIRLS Division 2

Swimmer of the Year - Anna Meinholz (Catholic Memorial)

Diver of the Year - Rachel Stave (Whitnall)

Coach of the Year - Rob McCabe (Shorewood)


BOYS Division 1

Swimmer of the Year - Alex DeLakis (Eau Claire Memorial-North)

Diver of the Year - Andrew Suchla (Racine Park)

Coach of the Year - Paul Eckerle (Madison Memorial)

Diving Coach of the Year (Both Divisions) - Andy Kortendick (Racine Park)


BOYS Division 2

Swimmer of the Year - Ryan O'Donnell (McFarland)

Diver of the Year - Joe Kaszubowski (Whitefish Bay)

Coach of the Year - Nick Weiss (McFarland)
